In September 1995, Lundbeck announced the formation of the Irish subsidiary Lundbeck (Ireland) Limited. Lundbeck had operated in Ireland for twenty-years prior to 1995. The new Irish subsidiary was set up with a team of six-people in 1995. The aim of the new subsidiary was to offer an improved service to Irish psychiatrists, GPs and patients.
